College Cohort

What is the College Cohort?

MYCJ’s College Fellowship supports a small group of college students across Maine who are leading environmental and climate justice work on their campuses through organized student groups, such as green teams, climate action clubs, and environmental organizations.

Fellows will receive a $300 stipend per semester and join a statewide peer network of young people working on climate and environmental issues. Through monthly meetings, Fellows will have opportunities to share ideas, troubleshoot organizing challenges, learn from other student leaders, and build connections with climate and environmental organizers across Maine.

Fellows will also serve as a connection between MYCJ and their campus communities, helping strengthen relationships and collaboration among college environmental groups across the state.
