Maine Youth for Climate Justice is seeking an individual to be our Outreach Coordinator. This position would work closely with the Community Engagement Director and the Communications Coordinator to coordinate our outreach efforts, especially relating to general basebuilding, high school and college student engagement, and our advocacy campaigns. The Outreach Coordinator will be someone who is a well-organized self-starter, has close connections to the youth climate movement, and can open the door for youth to build an understanding and confidence in their climate activism. MYCJ coordinators are facilitators, problem solvers, and innovators as they seek ways to bring youth voices and perspective into decision making spaces.
