Clean Transportation Advocate

Cole has spent the past five years working on advancing key climate policies, namely in the transportation and energy sectors. He has worked on passing legislation surrounding divestment of MainePERS $1.3bn public pension fund, increasing funding for transportation alternatives and reforming MaineDOT, and advancing clean energy goals. He also co-founded Maine Youth Action, an organization that mobilized youth activists to get involved in politics, as well as managed Rep. O'Neil's re-election campaign in 2020 and 2022. 

Outside of the Maine advocacy sphere, Cole is the Policy Director for Harvard's Undergraduate Clean Energy Group (HUCEG) and represents Maine on the Consumer Liaison Group of ISO-NE. He has also finished his work at the Office of Governor Healey on transportation, energy and fiscal policy. In addition, he will now be serving as MYCJ's Clean Transportation Advocate.
